Hollywood's most overpaid entertainers.

Actress Drew Barrymore was named by Forbes Magazine as Hollywood's least cost-effective entertainer, with actors Eddie Murphy and Denzel Washington also on the latest annual list.

It looks like producers aren't getting bang for their buck when it comes to Drew Barrymore, who was named Hollywood's most overpaid actor by Forbes Magazine.

The actress, who has starred in one movie miss after another, brings in only $0.40 for every dollar she gets paid, the magazine calculated.

Chalk that "win" up to a string of film disasters, including 2010's "Going the Distance," which only raked in $42 million world wide, and the 2007 box office failure, "Lucky You," which brought in $8 million.

Funnyman Eddie Murphy landed second on the list, bringing in $2.70 for every $1 he gets.

To compile the list, Forbes looked at the 40 highest paid stars in Hollywood who have made at least three films in the last five years.

The magazine then added up production budgets and divided by how much actors were compensated to come up with a return investment number for each star.

Other stars not pulling their box office weight were Will Ferrell ($3.50), Reese Witherspoon ($3.55), Denzel Washington ($4.25) and Nicolas Cage ($4.40).

Adam Sandler and Vince Vaughn also made the rankings, both of them raking in $5.20 for every dollar studios spent on them, and Tom Cruise, bringing in $6.35.

Actress Nicole Kidman rounded out the top ten, making $6.70 in returns.

The annual list wasn't all bad news for everyone who got named. This is the first time in two years Ferrell hasn't placed at the top.

And Murphy, who is slated to host the Oscars in February, continues to generate buzz for his upcoming comedy-action flick, "Tower Heist," which opened in theaters Friday.

Victoria’s Secret ‘angels’ shoot ad in Prague

Among the most successful American retailers of women’s wear, sexy lingerie and beauty products, Victoria’s Secret is known worldwide for its annual “secret fashion show” — and its especially it catalogs, which feature some of the most famous models on the planet in states of undress.

The company’s most visible spokeswomen — the supermodels who spearhead the lingerie line and are known as the “Angels” — recently came to Prague to shoot this coming season’s Victoria’s Secret advertising campaign for the “Dream Angels” line.

The television commercial debuted on Sunday night during US commercial station ABC’s hit show “Desperate Housewives”; it features Doutzen Kroes, Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima, and Erin Heatherton, catwalking their way through the Czech capital in bright bras and panties in the new collection — and, of course, angel wings.

Greece default will put Euro in peril

The first bombshell was dropped by the Greek Prime Minister. Now EU leaders have reciprocated with a nuke drop of their own. In a hastily convened meeting between German chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Nicolas Sarkozy and Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou the EU leaders made it clear that the referendum called by Papandreou is a referendum of Greece continuing with the EU.

Should the voters respond with a ‘No’ to the bailout package, and the Greece’s leaders were to heed that call, EU will be obliged to throw Greece out of the club and stop all payments of the bailout money already promised.

Furthermore, the two leaders have said that Greece will not get the next tranche of the bailout fund until the referendum took place and ended with a ‘yes’. The $8 billion fund which was supposed to be given to Greece is vital for its continued functioning.

Sarkozy said that if Greece decided to default, it will not get a “single cent”. The unusually tough language underscores the deep anger that European leaders are feeling towards Greece and in particular towards PM Papandreou.

Last night the two leaders acknowledged that the crisis may end in Greece leaving the European Union, a prospect that was unthinkable until now. There is also a sense that EU leaders have run out of options.
Papandreou does have a solid reason for asking for a referendum. The cuts and austerity measures that the bailout requires are deeply unpopular. Protesters have been clashing with police in Athens over it. Further cuts and more austerity will only exacerbate the situation. However, the greeks do not seem to want the second option either; and default and facing up to the consequences. Papandreou wants them to choose either of the two bad options and live with it.

However sound the idea maybe in theory, Papandreou government might fall this week over it. The government faces a confidence vote which it likely would lose. The scary alternative is that Greece would hold the referendum and opt to go out of the Eurozone. Then of course, the pressure of the default will move on to Spain and Italy, and were these two to collapse then all the funds in Europe will not be able to bail these two countries out.

It would be bye bye to euro.

Did Justin Bieber father a child?‎

A spokeswoman for Justin Bieber has denied claims that the 17-year-old has become a father.

A 20-year-old woman has reportedly told a US magazine that the teenage singer is the father of her three-month-old boy.

Star magazine has pictured Mariah Yeater on its front cover holding her son.

It says she has hired lawyers to seek financial support and a paternity test.

Justin Bieber's management say: "While we haven't yet seen the lawsuit, it's sad that someone would fabricate, malicious, defamatory and demonstrably false claims.

"We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations."

According to the magazine, Mariah Yeater claims the pair met backstage at a concert when Bieber was 16.

On his Twitter feed, Bieber wrote: "So I'm going to ignore the rumours and focus on what is real. An opportunity to help by doing what I love. Judge me on the music!"

Justin is performing at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Belfast on Sunday 6 November.

He's also due to turn on the Christmas lights at two shopping centres in London next week.

She's already graced the cover of Vogue. But Adele's latest glossy cover is likely to win far more favour with the average British woman.

The singer, whose UK size 16 body was cropped out on Vogue's October cover, is pictured from her head to her hips in Dolce & Gabbana leopard-print on the front of next month's Cosmopolitan magazine.

Looking every inch the bombshell, the 23-year-old stands with her hands at her waist, looking defiantly at the camera.

The magazine, quite rightly, breaks the model mould in putting Adele on its cover. She is no size zero, but nor is she unhealthy-looking, making her a positive role model for women in the UK, given that the average dress size is also a 16.

Rihanna in hospital

Rihanna has been hospitalised in Sweden.

The Cheers (Drink to That) hitmaker - who is currently on a world tour - has been hooked up to a drip at a Swedish medical institution and has been forced to cancel a performance in the city of Malmo in the south of the country after being stricken with the flu.

Tweeting a picture of her arm with a tube coming out of it, Rihanna wrote: "Sorry Malmo!"

In a statement, the 23-year-old singer added she was "really disappointed" she could not perform.

According to TMZ.com, she said: "I am sorry to everyone who was coming out to my show in Malmo. I was so excited to perform for you all. It would have been a great time. So much better than being sick with the flu, ugh. I'm really disappointed I couldn't be there."

A representative for concert promoter Live Nation added she was "not in condition to conduct the concert".

Rihanna is not the only star to be forced to cancel a planned concert recently - George Michael had to pull out of a gig at London's Royal Albert Hall after he was diagnosed with a viral infection, leaving him with a high temperature.
